Mine is not insurance, per se, but I use Banfield at Petsmart. $21 a month and I get free office visits, got free neutering, free vaccinations and discounted meds.
I know Kroger grocery stores offers a pet insurance as well, but I don't know any of the details.
Also, check with your employers, because pet insurance is sometimes offered as a benefit!
I find it weird that it's not offered for me... and my company has an animal health side to it (I'm in pharma) ...

I find it weird that it's not offered for me... and my company has an animal health side to it (I'm in pharma) ...We were discussing this topic last night at puppy pre school. The Vet nurse recommended Pet Plan and that was the only company that they had positive experiences with. Its uk based (im in Australia and its world wide I believe) the budget plan is 350 AUD and covers $9000 per year. Even offers a reward if your pet is stolen.
For most pets they recommend like others have already stated putting money aside each month for when its needed.
