I'm new to Tory Burch, and I've been lusting after a Perry tote. I'm not sure I really love the new design though. I found one on a resale site in the most gorgeous color, but it's called the Brody tote, not the Perry. It looks exactly the same in design, and I think maybe the Brody is a made for outlet bag? The seller said they bought it at an outlet. I love the color so much I'm seriously considering the purchase, but I'm slightly concerned because in pictures, the Brody looks like it might be stiffer that the Perry. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the Brody tote or outlet bags in general?

Hautelook.com is currently having a Tory Burch sale and they have a black Perry tote that looks like the original version.

I have the Brody, which as you suspect is from the outlets. I bought it because I wanted a Perry, but the new ones I wasn’t a fan of. I wanted a neutral interior instead of the gold, which is what the black comes with. The tote is a little stiffer than your regular leather tote but I don’t mind it because I wanted a bag I could reach in and out of easily, and I find that easier with a stiffer bag. Overall I really like it, it’s the perfect weekend bag for me.

I just bought the Perry Convertible tote which is actually called the Phoebe. The bag is only a smidge smaller than the original Perry. I love the added pouch as it can be used separately

Hi - how are you liking this new Perry tote? Do you by any chance carry a laptop in it? I am considering buying one on sale because I am looking for a lightweight leather bag to carry my laptop in daily to/from work. Thanks!

I bought the Brody this winter and used it a lot since. I don't have any other TB bags to compare it to, but there are no visible signs of wear, even though I've used it as a laptop bag, carry-on luggage etc. I like that it's structured enough to stand on it's own, although I use an organizer as well
