Yes if you love it and will wear it. Malachite is softer but it depends on how hard you are on your rings, how often you will wear it and whether it’s you. I like the perlee btf ring a lot but for me I don’t wear chunky RHR often because they get in my way. Everyone is different. But if you find something you love and will wear I would go for it.

Thank you! What’s RHR mean!
It’s definitely not an everyday piece but I find both rings beautiful. I don’t have anything in carnelian (yet!)

The carnelian is glowing so beautifully!
If I haven't worn a ring for a while , I tend to end up banging it a few times till I get used to having it on; so yes I would hesitate to get something like malachite.
Also I wash my hands a lot and just know I would lose the ring if I kept removing-it to wash up.

Thank you for this real feedback.

So I can’t believe it but I went back today and for whatever reason in my size it goes on well and I can’t take it off (we had a lot of trouble ended up icing my finger it got so swollen!). I think that officially scared me out of the ring! Would you say the same for turquoise?! I can’t believe they also had in my size

I know! I’m not sure I’m a candidate for these rings and especially worried since it was winter (in terms of sizing). I had no trouble getting them on and I have no knuckles so the SA and I were both really surprised I had so much trouble removing. My finger is still bruised this morning!

The butterfly has a thinner band, but it still worries me

Hi!
By the way, the butterfly BTF ring runs smaller for me compared to the Frivole BTF ring and the Perlee BTF ring.
This is because the butterfly BTF ring band is 75% closed vs. the Frivole which is about 65% closed. It makes a difference.
The Frivole BTF (like the Perlee BTF) runs looser because it is a more open ring.

BTF rings are not sized the same because the opening "gap" is not the same, and you need to try each style on for your perfect fit.

I have chunky knuckles. For the butterfly BTF ring, I am a size 53. For the Frivole BTF ring, I am a size 52.
I think that's why the Perlee fit you, but the butterfly did not. You need one size larger in the butterfly is my guess. Next time you go to the store, ask for the butterfly in a bigger size to compare.

Thanks! Bizarrely enough it was the perlee that gave me the trouble. That said they didn’t have all sizes but were convinced the 49 was my size until the fiasco. The butterfly I tried in 50. They only are for my middle finger (my ring finger is tiny, also bizarrely, per SA).

I tried the frivole a long time ago and don’t recall the size as it was likely not “my” size. I’m just worried my fingers aren’t meant for these designs

In case you’re curious, You can see in this pic there was something off. Both are considered size 49 although the carnelian the SA measured was technically a 49.5. The malachite is more closed, that’s the one that got stuck

Thanks for sharing! So it seems each BTF ring is sized slightly different, even the same style with a different stone
Don't be discouraged though... BTF rings are tough to fit. I always ask to try on two sizes to be sure.
