Lou Lou-I remember thinking that this what all the sophisticated women wore!

Le Jardin-It was my favourite ever smell and even though I think it has long been discontinued, it reminds me of being a child and christmas! (?)

Body shops dewberry-ALL the girls at my secondary school wore this and I literally doused myself in it. I had everything in this scent; the perfume, shower gel, talc, soap....... Oh God!

Tresor by Lancome. I bought it at 13 on my first trip to Paris. Ever since then just one hint of it & I'm back in Paris in the Spring. (oh & dreaming about being a carefree teen again always helps)

Chanel No.5. My mom wore it for years and years. It started off when her and Daddy were still dating, He would buy her a bottle every Christmas and forever that smell was what my Mama smelled like, you know what I mean...it was the Mama smell. Now she wears Organza by Givenchy. That's the Mama smell now.

There so many perfumes that take me back

Red Door - reminds me of my mother always,

L'eau de issy - highschool and believe it or not..Bob Mackie - going to the same club on Fridays we always went to when I was 18-20.

What a fun game...there are so many more I could name...

YSL Rive Gauche reminds me of my mother she always wore it
Lancome Miracles makes me think about my stepmum, she gets it free by the bucket load and stores it in her home office so their house always smells of it.
My first perfumes were L'Air du Temps (again, freeeee) and Belles du Ricci so they remind me of being at secondary school and all the delights of that....

L'air du temps reminds me of my grandmother, she loved that scent.
Kouros - a french boyfriend in the 80's
L'eau d'Issey - that's my previous job, I used to love this fragrance some years ago, and wore it at work all the time.

Ooh what my Dad used to wear, argghhh what is it...I think it's Paul Sebastian VSOP! Too bad they don't make it anymore.

I swap out perfumes quite a bit, and so does my Mom, but the one scent I always recognize is the simple/nonexpensive smell of The Body Shop's Satsuma products. LOVE the smell of that!! And back when they had Tangerine Beer shampoo, wow it smelled great!

ckone and tommy girl remind me of standing in the bathroom in middle school, applying cosmetics i wasn't supposed to be wearing.

anything with lavendar (body spray, lotion) smells like my mom. beautiful smells like my stepmom. white shoulders smells like my grandma. and there's a very specific cologne that smells like my grandpa, but i don't know what it is....i just catch it when i sit next to older men or pass them on the street and it makes me smile.

shalimar smells like my wedding day, among other good days.

my brother wore axe body spray in the kilo scent. when i miss him i sniff the can thingy. :smile1:

How about Georgio (sp?)? OMG! All the popular girls in HS wore that. I couldn't afford it then, but I was in the mood a couple months ago and bought it up. Crazy how a scent brings back such strong memories!?!
