I do not know anything about Hermes to be honest. I owe one of my best friends a lot for doing a huge favor and she collects Hermes Twillies (Twillys?). So I figure I'd get her one! Problem is, she's probably got 20 already so I need information on the hard to find ones or...seasonal. I don't know? Do they change twilly designs every season? Should I just get her something from the current season?

There's probably info on it here already but the search function's still off and I've tried so many threads already. I also looked into the Hermes website and I was surprised to see very few twilly designs. Almost got the one with the golf balls but I figured a second opinion here was better.

Personally I don't like the golf ball design because I'm not into golf. A very nice twilly to have is the tohu bohu one, would you know if she has this one?

Sorry don't have a photo but "Fleurs de Lotus" is pretty - I have the pink and orange one and it's really bright and fun. My local store also had "green berries" which was a sort of acid green with darker berries (like red currents). Here's it in pale pink;

If you wanted to get her something different - what about a pocket scarf? They are smaller than the larger scarfs and not much more expensive than the twilly. "Annee du rat" is pretty (though she may not appreciate a scarf with a rat on it!!). It comes in several colours (there's a fuschia one on Ebay at the moment;

mooks, was thinking of that one in orange actually if I could see what's written in the middle. Is it just H's? She did mention that she hasn't bought any from very recent releases. Is that very new?

Was thinking of that or the black and orange Bolduc that I'm looking at on Ebay (photo from Ebay).

That Fleurs de Lotus is so nice! I've never seen that before! Is Ebay the only place I can get it?

Hm...is the pocket scarf big enough to use as headbands? My friend uses it either as headband or to tie around her Birkin. I've always thought that the squares were also less versatile....?

I have the one in the middle with the red border. It's SOOOOO pretty. They all are, actually. The photo is great, but as is usually the case, they are much more beautiful in person. :tender:
