Hi everyone,

I want to buy a new bag for everyday use. I want a designer brand, but reasonably priced. In the past, I always bought Louis Vuitton canvas bags. But know I'm wondering if there are others brands I'd overlooked. My everyday bag should be practical to use (not too small, not too large either. I like the size of the following LV bags for daily use speedy 25 of 30, delightful PM or MM, Neverful MM,...) and it should be durable. Not a bag that shows scratches after a trip to the supermarket, but one that I won't have to baby.

I would love to hear your suggestions!

My idea of reasonable bag heaven is Longchamp and Lumi. Both make great bags, the quality is amazing and the leathers are lush. I've seen a 7-yr old Lumi Supermarket bag that had never been conditioned or babied, and the only wear she was showing was color fading in the corners. Lumi leathers tend to be a bit more rustic than Longchamp, which is the epitome of French luxury.

Hi my everyday bag is LV artsy mono. It's perfect size and actually holds shape.

I find LV canvas bags very durable. I also like my Mulberry Mitzy medium hobo. I have had mine since 2008 and it has held up very well. The leather on it is bombproof and can be worn in the rain.
I purchased it from a Mulberry outlet. I am not too familiar with Chloe bags but I have heard that the Chloe Marcie bags are very durable.

I think the Louis Vuitton bags are a good way to go. There are some other canvas bags but shipping them to and from Europe might be hassle if you wanted them fixed for any reason. Louis Vuitton is everywhere. But the other coated canvas brands are Faure le page and goyard. I like Faure le page's design better. Liberty the department store in London makes a pretty coated canvas tote too but I doubt the would ever do fixes on the bags they sell.

What do you think you'd get from LV?

Thanks for all the replies. I already have a LV delightful PM, a speedy 25 and 30 and neverfull pm that I use as everyday bags. They are all very durable bags. I enjoyed them a lot and they are still in great condition. I would like to buy another everyday bag, so I can rotate a bit more. But I'm not sure about buying another LV as an everyday bag, because their prices have raised a lot. For an everyday bag, I find $1200+ a lot of money, especially since I won't be babying this bag.

Would you like Goyard Anjou PM? I love mine and have used it almost daily since I got it last September. I also don't baby my bags and have no problems with Anjou
