I've had my vernis agenda for over a year, no problems at all with daily use. I've also had my vernis zippy for about 5 months with no problems and daily use.
i have 3 vernis accessories (and 1 on the way :sweatdrop), and i've never had issues with any of them "peeling". i am sort of careful with them, but not *that* careful (i don't keep them in the dustbag while they're in my bag for example)
