Peeling handles on East West tote

Hey all,
I've got a YSL East West tote - its barely used except from travelling, the handles are starting to peel. This looks awful and makes the bag look fake. Have anyone else had this? I've seen you can mail them for repairs but it seems really below standard to be happening.

I have the same issue with mine. Would love to know what the best solution is! Thinking about taking it to one of those bag spas in the city but if YSL would do it themselves then I'd rather go with that

Email your SA if you can. Mine made an "exception" for me with an issue (different bag) and sent me a new one. That said if it is happening to this bag for everyone they should adjust it!
