pebbled luxe or pewter crash - which is lighter?

I'm still learning my way around the differences in the BE leathers...
can you tell me which leather - a pebbled luxe or a (pewter) crash would be lighter?

The luxe looks like a lovely, chewy leather...which makes me think heavier.
I don't have any crash leather from BE (just from NR) so I just don't know...

I believe that crash is the lightest and pebbled is a much heavier leather, but I could be wrong!

Pebbled is heavier then crash, but the pebbled softens into a puddle and wears ike iron

Agree on the crash being lighter. I think both the pewter and black crashes wear extremely well too.

What Suzi said! Crash is quite light (unless you have 63 pounds of hardware put on like I usually do), but it's not like the pebbleds are TOO heavy. I love both and also agree that the pebbled leathers are really tough and can take quite a beating if they must. Do you have some swatches? If not, which ones would you like to see? I have some, and I know others here do as well. Plus, Ashley at BE is really good and fast about sending them.

Crash is lighter without a doubt. The original pebbled leathers are heavier but newer colours were lighter but not as durable. Get swatches!

Crash is much lighter. When mine arrived and I took it out of the box, my first thought was "WHOA, this is light".

Pewter crash is lighter - almost like a tarnished silver.
