I just ordered my second Dooney & Bourke bag ever. I picked the Pebble Grain Zip Pod Backpack in the color Slate. I currently only have one backpack purse and it's actually just a mini jansport bag in a disney print. I wanted something a little more sophisticated. I've watched many videos on youtube and read reviews but I'd love to see some of ya'll pictures. I also welcome any tips/tricks/loves/hates about this purse. I'm anxiously awaiting it in the mail.

Update.

After waiting 4 days for my purse to process I checked it to see it was "backordered". So I tried to contact them through their Contact Us link on the site but I got two emails telling me the message wasn't sent. Then I called. The woman I spoke to was helpful and patience. But she said every single color of the bag was backordered and she had no idea when they'd be in except one of the colors would be in in February. She asked what I wanted to do. She said I could wait and keep checking back, I could cancel, or I could cancel and we could order something else over the phone. I canceled and said I'll look over the site and find something else. The problem is this is what I want and has all the features I want. So I went looking at other brands since I had also been looking at a Michael Kors backpack. I ended up on Macy's and found the DB zip pod backpack was on sale but not in colors I wanted. I searched online for photos of the colors they had to see if real life photos looked better. And I fell in love with the Caramel color.

Long story short.....canceled my Dooney and Bourke order and ordered the Pebble Grain Zip Pod Backpack in Caramel from Macys and it'll be here Wednesday!

I don't understand why they let things stay on the site as "in stock" when clearly they aren't.
