Pearls!

So I am going to vegas for my bachlorette party in TWO days!! So crazy excited!! Ive been trying to decide what i want to get in vegas and i think i want to get a set of pearls and i have narrowed it down to two pairs

i know i should be getting mikimoto's or something, but i am only 24 and just want a set of fun pearls that are hot and can last me for until i need (aka HAVE TO) grow up lol!!! ok here are the pro's and con's of each

CHANEL
pro: cute, classic and total eye catcher
con: FAKE pearls (blah), not really lasting

TIFFANYS
pro: real pearls, love the style, if i want it classy i just turn it around so no one can see the toggle lol, classic and cute
con: I ALREADY HAVE THIS VERSION IN BLACK! lol i love it but i have the braclet and necklace in the onyx...but i have to admit i get the most compliments on this set!


so what do u guys think?? what should i get?

wow that is expensive for freshwater pearls. freshwater pearls are grown in the 100's from one clam? anyways if i were to spend that much i would make sure its cultured aka round pearls (one per clam)

i'd choose chanel,

those tiffany pearls are cute...but like another poster said, freshwater pearls are not really expensive.

thanks guys!!! yeah i know with a few hundred more i could probably get perfect pearls...,.or i can just count on stealing my moms mikimotos when i need them lol!!!

these are just fun random things i would wear to class/clubbing

i know most of the price is for the name and as the name brand whores that we are (lol) i think thats ok!!!

so we have 7 votes for the tiffanys??? does it MATTER that i have the black set already??? or is it just way too cute to pass up??

Between those 2, definitely the Tiffany...freshwater or not, they are real and the Chanel are not.

i voted chanel before reading they were fake....i would get the tiffany's just to get the real ones.

I would get the Tiffany set (but, wow those are pricey for freshwater pearls!). I would not pay that kind of money for pearls that were not real (Chanel set). I don't think it matters that you already have it one shade.

I love mine, although I seem to recall paying around $400 for them in 2006. Grrrr inflation
