Hello,
Hopeing to get the wife a nice pearl necklace.

What is the difference between salt water and fresh water?

There is a huge price differential and I am unsure why.

Pearl paradise is a nice site to go to as well. They are affordable and have nice pearls to start off with. Saltwater is just less available then farmed freshwaters are and also they are physically more appealing to the eye (rounder).

www.irridesse.com pearls are absolutely gorgeous. i have a lilac/lavendar strand from there and i absolutely love them. if you have an irridesse store by you, i would definitely suggest going in and checking them out. i think they might deliver online too? i found them on the website but had a store located near me and went to check it out.
