Hi

I'm looking to get a pair of Tahitian and pearl paradise looks pretty good. I'm not sure if anyone has experience buying a pair online though - would they be good to get from and ship internationally? I'm also not sure what is the difference between peacock overtone, green overtone and black overtone. Any pictures to share pls...?

A pair of what? It's not clear from your post. I bought a pair of Tahitian pearl cufflinks from them and was very pleased. The price was very good and the pearls had lovely peacock overtones.

You should contact them directly if you have a specific color in mind. They have a chat button at the top of the website and you can speak with them during California buisness hours. Describe to them what you want or provide pictures of your perfect pearls and they will do their best to match it.

I buy all of my pearls from them and have always been very pleased. Here is a pair of my Tahitians.

Wow your earrings are nice. They look very good. I'd do as you suggest..

I used to buy from them all the time, but lost the pearl bug and when I took a recent look their prices weren't as great as they used to be. That being said, I was always happy with their service and product.

A peacock overtone means that the pearl will shimmer with a rainbow of colors. Green would be just green shimmers. Never heard of a black overtone. You also need to consider body color. Tahitians aren't all dark. Some have "dark" body color, others are shades of gray.

I bought my Tahitian pearl studs from them a few years ago. They were more on the black side - I wanted them (was debating between Tahitian and black akoyas) as dark as possible. I e-mailed them and asked from some options and picked a pair from there which was great. They're pretty - mostly dark (black) with some slight tinges of green (that appear more in the light). They are great to work with so I would suggest reaching out and seeing what they have on hand so you can choose a pair that speaks to you.

Email them with what you're after for sure! They can always take photos of different pearls and send them to you to choose from :) While it's true the prices are a bit higher than they used to be, they're still priced better than just about every other vendor and they have a huge selection to choose from!
