Someone PM'd me asking for pics of my pearlized brown emilia. I just got it today, so here you go. the leather is identical in structure to the pearlized charcoal and new gib. The color reminds me of a chocolate version of prada's graphite modore. Really gorgeous.

Next to double-tone

Close-up of braid (more brown irl) but this shows texture. thread is not an idetical match, but not too noticeable.

Absolutely stunning Lionlaw!! I agree the last pic shows the color most true. Both of your bags look fabulous!

Your double-tone Ormala is very classy.

Did you do lilac suede in your Emilia, or is that the pink cloth lining ?

I'm very excited to get my PB Emilia...bless Maria's heart I put the 25% deposit down a few month's ago and she has been so very patient and accommodating through all my questions, indecisiveness, and changes.

Not LL, Sk and sorry for jumping in....but I have swatches of both PB and PBr, plus the new GIBII .....In my opinion the PB and PBr are the same as your original GIBI, but the GIB swatch in the look book now, and the GIB II of my Virginia is more structured.

LL - can you confirm the structure is the same as GIB II?

YES. I have not felt GIB I, but my bag feels like GIB II to me.

The swatch I have (shown in picture) is SOFTER than the actual bag. The leather in my bag is identical to the feel of the pearlized charcoal which was identical to GIBII.

But, dont use me as a guide because I tend to have issues others dont.

I am happy with the color but the leather was not the same consistency of the swatch I had which is more velvety and soft to the touch.

If you closed your eyes and tried to distinguish between pearlized charcoal and pbr by touch, you couldn't (or at least i couldnt).

Thanks for the responses!

I asked Maria, and I stressed the poor woman out, I think she started having GIB flashbacks!

She asked for pics of my (TL's) swatch, and here is her response:
"Even if the hides can have some slight variation, the leather never changed (you know like the GIB) and I am curious since to me the pearlized brown isn’t / was never so soft as the GIB I (more than the GIB II, yes). It looks like the swatch I have here. I think it’s perhaps in between both GIBs yet I still think not as soft and drapey as the first. Unless the swatch you have was taken out of a particular corner where for some reason the leather was thinner,it has always been the same leather"

My Mini E is almost complete. As long as the color is the same as the swatch (LL confirmed above) and it isn't more structured than GIB II, I'll be happy with it.

When mine arrives, I'll compare PBr, GIB I & GIB II, just for curiosity sake.
