PayPal reaches consumer protection settlement with Md., other states

  2. I sold diamond earrings to a lady who said that she broke the post and wanted to return them. They were worth $1,000. and I told her to fix them first and then return them. She complained, and Paypal froze the money for two months until their department analyzed the problem. The lady and I reached an agreement within two days, but we could not get Paypal to unfreeze the money. Crazy company policies allow them to earn interest on their customer's money. I'm glad someone has complained.
