I used my credit card to pay for items via paypal. However, when I sold some stuff, paypal required that my account be linked to my bank account. Now I can't seem to use my credit card to make payments. Why does this happen?

When you go to pay for your purchase choose the other payment option and you should be taken to the page where you can select your checking account or credit card.

Also, there's a default you can select.
I rarely mess w/ mine because they're just the way I want them, but dig around in your setting/account a bit. You'll find a place to check which method you want used.
