Paypal Invoice

I sold and item and the winner is paying in 2 payments. If I send a paypal invoice for the full amount can she pay half now and half later?

Only if she can change the total. It is something that you set. I don't how it is set though, I'm sure someone else does. I had a buyer make 2 seperate payments but she had to pay me using my email address because she could not edit the total on the invoice.

Keep in mind that if this is an eBay transaction, I don't believe you will be covered by seller protection with the buyer making multiple payments.

The buyer definitely won't be covered, but I believe the seller is supposed to be. However, since the seller won't send the item until the buyer pays in full, the seller will likely lose protection against INR because she won't be sending the item within seven days of payment. Lay-away plans often end up in disaster....
