Patent vs Napa

Hi there!

Thoughts on patent vs napa leather simple pumps? Want to wear them mostly with pant suits for meetings and conferences. I’ve never worn black patent for work, but wondering if there are rules or you guys have an opinion. Love and own the decolettes and pigalles but find the simple pumps more comfortable so wanted to give them a try. Thanks!

I tried both and the patent looked better with my suit! Now Im debating the sizing. Im 39.5 in Pigalle and Decollete. The 39.5 simple patent are just right to a bit tight in the toe box and “cleavage” , the 40s a re about 1/2 in or less too big. Can anyone comment on how much they have stretched if any or if I should go up to 40.

I’d keep the 39.5 and try to stretch them a bit wearing thick socks for a little while. Should do the trick.
