Hi All,

I would like to purchase Patek Philippe aquanaut, when I was in the shop in Bond Street, they told me that they will put my name on the wish list. I was wondering if this is “the wish list” same as at Hermes, or it is actually can come true without purchase history with the brand? Any recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks

This is so so so correct; it is not a matter of a purchase history, but rather that demand so far exceeds supply that you either just have to be patient for years and years for popular models (or any Rolex sport watch, or stainless rolex), or yes, turn to grey market. For the super highly desired aquanaut, that often can mean 3x retail but no agonizing wait. PP just discontinued its most popular model, the Nautilus 5711, which some people have been waiting for for a decade, so this is why it is a wishlist, because it really may never come true. You never know when they are going to stop production of certain models.
