Hello,

Just wanted to share my experience. I bought a pair of Chanel ballet flats on Poshmark in 2019. It was deemed authentic by their authenticators and it got sent to me.

Fast forward to 2022, I reposhed the same Chanel ballet flats as I've never used it. It sold and got sent to Poshmark for authentication. I received an email from Poshmark that they cannot confirm it as authentic and I cannot relist the same item as the sale of counterfeits are against their policies.

It is a good thing I kept everything, including the card Poshmark sends whenever the item passes authentication. I emailed them asking them how can it pass authentication the first time, so far I have not heard back.

That's terrible. If it passed the first time, they should either let you sell them or give you a refund. Can you prove they are the same ballet flats you purchased?
The posher I bought the flats from have all her listings removed and is not active anymore. I have records of me purchasing it on my email and on the app. The only picture left is one tiny picture on the app because I left a seller review for the flats.

I also have the Posh authenticity card that they included. It is a simple card that confirms the authenticity of the flats and it is signed by the one who reviewed the shoes the first time.

I didn't include the card when I sent it to Poshmark for authentication again. I wanted them to 'properly' authenticate again and not rely on the card.

Wow idk how they will resolve that
Yea, the only thing backing my word right now, aside from the other evidence I have, is that I've sold other luxury items on Poshmark that were all authentic (LV, Chanel, YSL, etc) and have good reviews from buyers.

Due to this experience, I would probably not buy luxury from Poshmark again. What a headache, it is not worth it.

Poshmark will not remove sellers who have tons of sold items. There is this seller who sells tons of fake Gucci, Chanel, YSL and described her bags as fake but of highest quality on each one of them. I reported her account and Poshmark has not done anything. I even emailed them directly and no response. That seller's fake bags (lots of them and many have been sold) are still on her listing. She even answered me when I told her Poshmark does not allow fake items and she said:" They can remove them if they want to." She was bold! LOL...she is Poshmark ambassador! Imagine that!

This is the final straw for me about buying on there. I hope you get it resolved.

I don't think Poshmark has anything against selling fakes as long as the seller indicates that on the listing. In my case, the flats were said to be authentic on the listing and authenticated by Poshmark as well.

I haven't and I don't think they are interested in getting it resolved. This was it for me, the lack of customer service annoyed me so I am done with the app. What a waste of time and money.
Please persevere here. DEMAND your money back. Plain and simple. They were wrong, they need to refund you. It’s as simple as that. It is ILLEGAL to sell counterfeit items and this platform has a huge responsibility to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’m serious, keep at it and get refunded. I have demanded a refund after months of having a bag not realizing it was fake until I did. They refunded me. They did not authenticate it either. It’s simple, a fake item was allowed to be sold on their platform and they are responsible for this. Please keep us updated. Only accept a full refund.

Update: At someone's suggestion here, I paid to authenticate the ballet shoes and they deemed it authentic.

I sold the same pair on a different platform at a loss because I just wanted to get rid of it. I hate keeping items around me that don't bring me joy, and the ballet flats gives me bad memories due to my experience with Poshmark.

I have not heard from Poshmark, it has been months. I am done using Poshmark and I decided to move on rather than dwell on it.
