I would love to hear feedback/advice from Parker and Melody bag owners. I need to add a blue bag to my collection. I found 1 coach store that has a Melody in the smaller size available. However there is a really nice blue Parker on sale right now. Both are really nice, dressy, functional (on sale) and I need to get one soon otherwise both will be gone. This is the Melody in Cadet vs the Parker in Mist.

Thank you. I agree. I saw both bags in person. The parker is pretty and I love the detailing and mix of different leathers. It has so many things going on from the embossing to the genuine snakeskin to the mix of blues. However I found the c lock closure to be a little troublesome. The melody was easier getting in and out and very striking. I got the small size. I found the shape to be more rounded and feminine. The quilting, shape, distintive logo lock and ease of use wins.

I have a Parker which I love - I am partial to a turn lock closure for handbags! 
I prefer to wear it on double straps as sometimes wearing it as a single strap can be uncomfortable, especially if the bag has a lot of things in.
I have never seen the Melody before, I agree with the other poster that the colour is really nice!
