I am looking to get a black bag that can be used crossbody. Right now I’m stuck between the Parker in black and gunmetal or the Swagger (from eBay). I already own the pink color block Parker which I love! But i like that the swagger can be handheld which I find so feminine and classy. The Parker has the darker hardware which I find really cool and edge. What do you suggest?

Are you looking at the full sized Swagger or a 27 size? I have a regular sized and a 27, and I plan to sell my regular sized one. I just don't ever use it, but the 27 is a great size for wearing crossbody and hand held. I am not a huge fan of the Parker because of the flap and how it wings out when filled on the smooth leather version (unless the newer models have been changed). I know there are huge Parker fans on this forum, so they can provide more input. If you want a different style, since you already own a Parker, I'd vote for the Swagger. Along the same vein, have you looked at the Rouge 25? That can be worn crossbody, shoulder bag, crook of arm, and hand carried. Rogues are my favorites.

If you already have a Parker, why not go for the Swagger? The Parker is a great bag, but getting a Swagger (27 or under) would bring more variety to your collection. It works well as a cross body and handheld - if you can find a colour combo that you like it, go for it! :)

I am looking at the size 27. I'm now leaning away from the Parker. I was using my pink Parker this weekend and I LOVE it, but I really am trying not to buy the same bag over again. I have a blue Tory Burch fleming that I LOVE and especially for the summer, and was considering getting the black. But again, I don't want to repeat a bag purchase. The Swagger 27 seems like it might fit my current needs more. I can hand carry or crossbody or even on the shoulder, making it more versatile. I think the chain strap bags can be a little more limiting as they are painful to carry crossbody. Do you think the pebble leather is durable? I never had a pebbled leather bag before but I've seen other Coach ones and think they look so nice.

I am a big fan of pebbled leather. I like the look and I also find it incredibly durable, and the leather will wear better than other leathers like smooth leather or lambskin, which are more prone to scratches. It is a great idea especially if you have never owned them as it will bring more variety to your leather collection! :)
