have anyone done it? if so did u use gortex/ silicone or?i hv heavy paranasal folds. i did try fat graft a few times but my survival rate is terrible. right after fg i look great but soon the fat cells died and the fat graft only made my face more saggy. can paranasal implant improve alot or not much? will it look natural, i heard some complained bot the joker face but is that just within the recovery period or is it long term? and will it help reduce the look of slightly protruded mouth? PS. my skin is very very thin and saggy. thanks

having fillers will last longer than fat graft. having implant is more permanent though.
but I heard that putting implants inside forehead or cheek or paranasal area can cause problem.. like there might be fluid or blood inside implant after surgery.

I think filler is the way to go. I have heard fat graft easily disolves in thhat area since we are always constantly moving those muscles, but i feel like implant would be too obvious?

How common is this sort of complication? Anyone know how commonly paranasal implant surgeries are performed in comparison to things like eyelid, rhinoplasty, jaw, etc.?

From all the paranasal implants i've seen, it tends to look more on the fake side. I know doctors recommend this procedure in korea, but the same result (to avoid protruding mouth) can be achieved if the doctor does a good rhinoplasty. I've seen many cases of really flat bridge face to very 3-d face with just the nose being properly built up, but I think if your nose is very flat and has a lot of fatty tissue, you will require rib cartilage for the rhinoplasty to get a good result

Does it tend to look fake? How so?
With things like rhinoplasty.... it sometimes looks fake cause the nose seems too straight, etc. I'm curious to know how paranasal implants look fake, since I was considering the procedure. :s

If you are considering getting implants simply because they last long, I don't wanna recommend it. I saw so many people who've done it, and remove them eventually, because they were so unnatural looking

http://bongqiuqiu.blogspot.com/2014/08/3-months-post-op-before-after.html Bonqiuqiu for example got the paranasal implant, and I think after she got it her face looks more round like a baby. I think it's a common look for those in Korea who got the implant. Something about the face just looks odd..? Whereas if you just did the rhinoplasty, sometimes the nose looks too straight and tall that it's weird, but in the end, the rest of the face at least doesnt look odd? haha i can't really explain.. but it might just be my personal preference too. I always tend to prefer people before fat grafts to the face as well.

Thanks Zipper.
Hm yeah it's hard for me to see what you mean. Though, to me, the other surgeries she's had seem more unnatural in combination... not necessarily the PI.

What is your opinion on these photos of paranasal implants:

?

I think those look pretty natural from the front actually, but are there any photos of other angles? Like 3/4 view and view from the side? At least with nose jobs, I know that judging a nose by the frontal view only in a picture is really misleading. Videos or other views of the face help a lot!

--The second photo.... I think it's more the v-line surgeries that look unnatural? (Unless they're done in a more subtle manner and not an obvious v-shape)

--By paranasal implants, you're referring to the little triangles beside the nose... not cheeks, right?

--All the women in the links I posted look fine, in my opinion, by the way lol. By no means am I implying that they don't look fine as they are.

Hm you're right, I may be judging the paranasal implant surgeries based off of the overall look haha, since they tend to be paired with other surgeries all done together. Is it rare for people to just do paranasal implant? I wonder if there's a reason for it being rare on its own.

Even if in pictures they look ok, I worry about when someone talks or moves their face muscles and if the movement will be unnatural >< I have seen that a lot
