Looking to get my first Panthere piece and wondering if anyone can comment on the durability of this particular necklace. I'm not familiar with the Cartier lacquer. Tsavorite garnet seems pretty hardy with mohs of 7 - 7.5. Could this necklace be a 24/7 piece? I'm not so worried about scratches since it's a necklace, but what about showering with it? Appreciate any feedback from those who own this or a similar one from the Panthere line.

I do have this one, no problems at all. However, I wonder on yours if the chain is not too small to crack and you lose the necklace? This being the reason why I chose mine.

I have and LOVE this necklace!! I can’t speak for 24/7 wear since I take mine off and also don’t shower with it I just personally wouldn’t wear any necklace 24/7 so it has nothing to do with the necklace itself.

I just wanted to chime in and say I love it and it’s a really great piece!!:love:

Hi! I'm thinking of getting this necklace and was wondering if you ended up purchasing yours how do you like it?

I have not purchased it yet. My SA mentioned that it's not recommended to be a 24/7 piece and the black lacquer should be treated more carefully, e.g. no fragrance, no wearing in the shower, etc. So I'm holding off on it for now. It's still on my wishlist. It's a gorgeous piece! I'm just into jewelry that I never have to take off for now and this doesn't seem to be it.

Thank you for your response. I didn't know that lacquer is sensitive. I also don't like to take off my jewelry, so now I know that this piece is a no go for me... My wishlist is so long, it's nice to cross something off
I want to get something from the Panthere line though, maybe a bracelet then, I like the one with two heads.
