Pandora Bracelet Safety Chain

I have a question for all the Pandora lovers & OG's.... I just started my first ever bracelet & I'm wondering.. regarding the safety chains.. do you have to use the Pandora ones? It can you use any sort of safety chain? I have a moment's heart snake bracelet.

Not necessarilly I suppose as long as it fits alright and you're happy to mix brands. But just like with charms using a non pandora chain could invalidate your warranty, if, say, a threaded safety chain gets stuck on a thread and/or brakes the bracelet. In my 10+ years of collecting pandora charms I am yet to have one of my bracelets open by itself (bangles have opened though), so I don't find that I particularly need safety chains on all of them. The ones I have are just for deco purposes

I use a Pandora one on my bracelet, but that’s purely my choice. On another subject, one thing to note is that if you load your bracelet full of charms the bracelet will stretch over time, and you’ll end up needing to buy a new one. I just had to replace mine after about nine years. Not because the bracelet was broken, but because it had stretched so much, I could take it on and off without opening the clasp.
