Pandemic Project: Pretty Painted Purple Plume
Now say it five times fast. *Just kidding*
I bought this Plume at least 10–15 years ago.
It was a bargain on eBay.
I used it off and on for years.
I tried to re-home it for years.
Didn't sell.
After it spent a year languishing on consignment in NYC, I decided to bring her home.
It was meant to stay with me.
One thing to know about me, I have Purple hair now.

While it was at consignment, all the while I said to myself if it did not sell, I'm going to send it to Max Paints Bags and have something fun done to the bag.

While in quarantine, I decided it would be the perfect time to send the bag to Max. It would help a fabulously talented artist at a time when artists need work too.
He previously transformed my vintage HAC into a Henna Painted Dream.
Here's a before picture of my 32 Plume.
And just for kicks and giggles, my HAC.

So what to do with the Plume?...
I want to smile every time I wear her.
Something fun, colorful, and have some purple in it.

So I reached out to Max and asked about his camouflage work. He said he does something a little different and showed me sample work on other toile painted bags.

I am a big fan of Pucci so I love these (especially the print on the Bolide).
Something with a cool 60s mod print would be fun.
