Well it is nice to see pores - something everyone has, but we never see. I hope it catches on. Of course you need great skin to do this.
Pores are visible unless you use a filter. There is no foundation that can fill in pores.
Pamela’s skin is glorious but so are the dermatologist's and PS bills, she had to shell out.
Even daily use of tretinoin and retinol would not get those results.
The only time, I see someone so fair having spectacular skin, the woman is Asian and avoided the sun from infancy.

not many of us americans were smart enough to avoid the sun as your Asian friend did. I have the damage to show for it.

They did not buy the glow like we all did. Do you see older Asian ladies with gloves and umbrellas?
Their skins are usually well preserved.
My MIL talked about a Filipina woman who didn't want her small children playing outside because she didn't want their skin to darken...this was a bridge too far for me

Yes, I suppose I meant just natural texture.

I avoided the sun in my late teens when I finally realized tanning just caused burning. I had so many comments about being sour cream or pasty because everyone else was working on their tans. In fact, they would go on vacation in the winter and get as dark as possible to show off (look, I was away and you weren't!) when they got home. Those immediate tans from a 2 week Florida or island vacation never even looked good to my eyes. lol

You were ahead of your time.
I still spend so much time outdoors that I will probably look like a raisin soon enough:biggrin:

Some ppl don't tan well. I avoid the sun and wear sunscreen because I have a slight case of rosacea. It's worked well for me in the long run.

But with Pamela Andersen, a little mascara and tinted lipgloss wouldn't hurt. She looks so bare without makeup.
