I agree. Her hair and skin blend in together and with the tiny brows she looks like a ghost. Her natural hair colour used to be brown and some years ago she had her hair in a shade closer to her natural colour, only a few shades lighter.

I think the shade on the left or something like it might look better on her. Something to give a bit of contrast. I wonder if it could be hormonal things (and possibly removing extensions) that make her hair look so brittle right now. I'm no stranger to problematic hair myself, I struggle with my hair constantly because health issues that are making my hair brittle and baby fine.

I just feel the cape dresses and pussy bow muumuus are very ageing for someone her age. She has looked much better (even though her style sense has been lacking for decades to be honest) so I'm wondering why the strange style choices now. I think she could benefit from having style advice from the best stylists who dress the royals.

Yes! A warm honey or light brown would look fabulous on her. With pale blonde and light features you need makeup to keep from being washed out. So if she really wants to live makeup-free then she should adjust her hair color to compensate.

I'm also younger than her, eleven years to be exact. Who knows what will happen with my face by the time I get to her age, of course hoping I will get to her age. I struggle with multiple chronic health issues and have atopic skin with rosacea. I have a couple of forehead wrinkles and the corners of my mouth are starting to look sad but that's all the wrinkles I have for now. I guess I should count myself lucky. People, including doctors, routinely mistake me for being about fifteen years younger than my actual age. That's not to say my skin would be perfect (it really is not) but no sagging yet. I don't have any grey hairs yet either but when they do arrive, I am not sure what I will do. Maybe will have to go back to dyeing my hair if I can.

Oh hands... Thanks to a congenital thing with collagen, my hands (and feet) sometimes look like I was 85, then again like I was 25 if I'm having a good day. 😖 So not saying I am perfect either. And I do struggle with ageing and wanting to look young forever. Who wouldn't?!

Now I feel like a beee**** for badmouthing Pam but I do think her style needs updating. I googled a few pics and this is not what she looked like a few months ago, makeup or not. Of course it might just be that she doesn't care about looks at all but guessing by how much effort there seems to have been put on creating this style, I don't think that's the thing. I think her old style was awful but this isn't it either.

Phew! You and I would make quite a pair! I hope you can resolve your health stuff and feel better!

I’ve had folks remark that I don’t look my age, but that’s on a good day when I don’t look like death warmed over 😂 But when I am in inspection mode in the mirror I certainly don’t see what they see!

I’m grateful for Pam promoting the sans fards life because I’ve pretty much adopted it for myself and feel less self-conscious when famous folks are doing it, too.

She does have the means to fine tune her look and I do wish she would. I think the hair is out of date and doesn’t work for her at her age and with her style. I think in her mind she is still 30-something.

Wait until you get hit with the dread menopause. This is a game changer. I have noticed this year, I now have vertical lips lines among other horrors.

Oh lord, ain’t this the truth! I was not prepared for all of the horrors that menopause secretly has done to my body! 😱

Oh I'm sure perimenopause is already silently attacking me. Hard to tell because my other chronic ailments can cause similar symptoms. I just hope I can find a good doctor in a couple of years who knows about this stuff and can and will help. It really is astonishing and terrible how women are still treated when it comes to female healthcare. I've ran into this issue a few times recently as many Gen X women are talking about it and good for us, more and more women demand to be heard when it comes to health issues like menopause and receiving treatment. A big reason for treatment taking steps back about a decade ago was a flawed study on HRT.

I don't wear much makeup either these days. My skin went nuts a few years ago and for a long time I couldn't wear any. Now I'm just too lazy. Maybe on some festive occasion I might slap on some mascara.

Back to Pam. I read some really scathing reviews today on The Last Showgirl. Meanwhile others praise the film. I can't even find a trailer yet so we will see!

For real.
It is strange that no trailers have been released. The story sounds so interesting and the role is custom made for her.
I can’t wait to see it myself.

I think she will look good with thicker brows and some Korean brand glass skin care routine, no need for that red lipstick, does her nothing, she's always looked better with natural colored lips.
She doesn't look bad, she did have a lot of sun exposure. If she is going to wear makeup, the lip is the last thing she needs.

It's a female thing. Smokers (I'm not) and talkers (I'm not) yet it still happens, but not to men as much.

I think that's part of what makes those weird Hollywood faces - filling in the lip lines and everything seems to puff out too much.

The red lips are part of Pam's photo shoot - it's not her natural look. I'm still impressed with what she's doing.

She looks pretty much as expected for 57 year's old.......but only because she's had plastic surgery. Otherwise, there would be more general softening around the jaw etc, the usual signs of natural ageing with which there's nothing wrong for someone knocking on the door of 60.

I certainly don't consider being (partly) make-up free is "brave" as has been said! It's normal for many women.

The alternative is to get fillers around the lips.
It looks unnatural and reminds me of dr Zira.
Pink bathrobe pictures do not look good ... at all.

I'd be curious to see how Pam-Pam would have aged without the BarbWire-Pam interlude.
What happened during that time?

95-96 is when she let fame get to her and became a caricature of a stereotypical blonde.

I pretty much lost interest even though she was all over the tabloids and screens. Read through the Wiki after that and see all the appearances listed as 'herself'.

I guess it's "Brave" for Hollyweird standards. I'm mostly make up free every day (except face powder and lip gloss) and I don't recall people telling me I'm brave. :P

Me too. Actually I've never worn makeup all my life, maybe just a bit of blush since I'm very pale, but now that I'm in my 60's I often wear foundation, powder and blush to make my complexion look more even. I've never worn eye makeup because I have very sensitive eyes. My DDs are in their 40's and they don't wear makeup either, just a little when they go out in the evenings.
