With the impending price increase I am considering springing for the Love ring in small.
I can only afford the silver with such short notice, which I am totally fine with.
I would love mod shots, pros and cons!
If I am correct, the price increase is to be on the 9th in the United States?

I have the love ring in both white gold pave and rose gold pave. Of course, I love the design if you couldn’t tell.

That being said, my mother dislikes the look and calls it too young. But after 3-4 years, this is still one of my favorite pieces. From the graffiti collection, I also have a brooch (which I seem to have misplaced…) as well as a cuff.

It’s a very iconic design. So I agree that I see iterations of it at Saks and local jewelers. My mom says it’s not classic because of the lettering. But I disagree. The collection has existed since the 80s. It’s the OG, but still relatively unknown. Many people have complimented me on it, even though they don’t know where it’s from.

That being said, I would recommend getting it in gold over silver.

I love the honest feedback! If money weren’t an object I would probably buy it in rose gold and silver. Because I like choices :)
Yes there a lot of knockoffs I agree; I found a more affordable love ring on Etsy

I admit that I am feeling the pressure of the price increase. However, I have been eyeing the Love ring for a few months now.

Personally, I actually find that the full size love ring is more chic than say, the open heart ring or even the Return to Tiffany tags. When you look closely at how the l-o-v-e letters are constructed in one single, continuous sweep, uniform in detail and beautifully fluid, it really makes me appreciate how spectacularly made this piece is. There may be dupes for other collections like the T collection, RTT or the bean where it may not be obvious whether it’s fake, but I think it’d be difficult to truly replicate the craftsmanship of uniform lettering in a way that looks authentic for this collection. Notably, how the “o” and the “v” have the gorgeously playful loop detail as part of the font. So much movement and femininity to this piece. Now this is for the full size — the small size seems better for stacking!

I bought the full size love ring in YG for my sister so forgive me, this is the only photo I can get of it right now, looking silly next to some of my other YG/WG rings. :) my sister loves it and has gotten compliments on it while we’re out and about! The only worry is you’ll need to be careful to not get the protruding letters caught on things, have a dog yank on the leash, play sports with it, etc.

I once saw someone use the Love pavé as their wedding band and wow, what a stunner. YG is beautiful, but the diamond is just the most incredible work of art in person.

Now that I’m entering my 10th year into buying luxury with my own money, a rule I find myself going back to — just buy the thing you truly want (as long as you’re still healthily within your means and can stay on track with your financial goals) Previously I’d try to buy something in between to squish the feeling, but it always stuck around or I’d still think about obtaining it, which would cost more in the long run. Once you have it, you’ll love the piece even more once it’s part of your collection. 💖 Also, don’t let what’s in your near term budget and the price increase pressure you — it may be better to wait and save up for the specs you actually want. These routine price increases by LVMH are a way to artificially create a sense of purchase urgency, when in reality, the piece will still be there ready for you to purchase, just maybe 3-10% higher than when you initially thought about purchasing it.

Please keep us updated! Good luck! 💖

Thank you! As a wedding ring? What a fantastic idea! I agree about their scheme to get people to buy; they certainly got me!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful post. I will keep you posted :)

I would stick to the Tiffany version but definitely the gold one. You won't regret it and it will bring a smile on your face when you are wearing it.
Good luck with your decision 🤗!

Thank you! I am going to wait u til I can afford the gold one. Even though I am going to have to pay after the price increase I don’t want to rush myself so thank you to everyone for your thoughts!

Maybe seeing this thread inspired me but I ordered it in the sterling silver version yesterday. I was initially going to order the (yellow) gold but decided against it due to lack of funds. Hopefully I made the right choice. I only have a few Tiffany sterling silver rings and this one has been on my wish list for years. I don't really have too many Tiffany items left on my wish list. I'm venturing into other brands.

Please share when you get it! I want it in silver and one in gold.

Same.... I ended up ordering one for myself too. Fills a gap and is a fun piece.
