I have had this bag on my wish list since it came out. It is always "Call for availability" until a week ago. It was suddenly "Place in cart". So I jumped at the chance. It has arrived and I am not that excited about it, especially for the price, $2,983.20 Canadian with taxes. I think part of the issue is the straps, they seem way too big for the size of the bag. The straps are comfortable but they look so puffy. I knew this going in as I have watched several Youtube videos. My 6 year old daughter asked my why my backpack looks so weird, so even she noticed the straps. I feel like I should return it and get something that I won't have such mixed feelings about. I am just worried I will regret sending it back and then will feel like I missed out because it is so hard to order. In every video the owner says it is such a great bag. Has anyone else experienced these feelings?

I was in the exact same boat and in the end I decided to return it. I called the LV call center to ask about the Palm Springs PM in reverse monogram and was told that it was the very last one they had in the US, so I jumped on it. When I received it, I LOVED the color combo but I wasn't that excited about it due to the straps. In the end I returned the bag and I haven't found myself missing it much. There are so many beautiful designs out there after all. I do have the palm springs mini which I really enjoy, so that made the decision to return a bit easier as well.

I returned the bag on the left. I still find it very beautiful to look at, just not pretty when I wore it...

I am an avid fan of the Palm Springs PM [emoji7] I had the mini but ended up returning it. I love the PM. It’s my go to travel bag. It is the perfect size and so comfortable. I had the same thoughts about the straps but once you fill the bag, it gets weighed down (not in a bad way) but if you’re not 100%, I would recommend returning. GL!

I say return it. Definitely! I agree that the straps seem disproportionately puffy and big compared to the size of the bag. Its one thing to covet a bag, it’s another to actually use it. I’ve resided myself to enjoying some bags from afar.

Thanks everyone for your input! I think I will return the bag.

I have had the PS PM since release day and it is my most used bag. It is so comfortable with those puffy straps, so cute and so great that you can be completely hands free. I barely want to change out of it! My other bags barely get any use. I love it so much that when it got little cracks and I had the chance to exchange it for anything, I opted to get other one!

The straps were the deal breaker for me. Your pic of it to the side just actually made me laugh as it looks so odd! I wish they had put woven straps on that would just collapse when it’s put down. I’ve just ordered a reverse mini PS. It’s too small really but I love the change-up straps so will use as a mini handbag rather than backpack.

ive had the palm springs pm for a few years and its my go-to travel bag or when i need something bigger than a mini bag. im not in love with the straps due to its bulk and tendency to slip off my shoulders but my love for the bag itself outweighs that.

if youre not in love with it, return it.

It's great to have that special straps (I personally like the look of straps on the body it's edgy and futurlistic), no one would miss it and from afar they know it's LV Palm Springs, if that's what you are looking for, price is a dividing line to separate people who wears certain things, no offense, really just saying why some stuff are so expensive most of luxury items cost almost nothing to make compares to the price tags they are selling for, really think birkin worth $10,000 to make? of course not, but why we buy it? to "label" our ability of buying

In my opinion, Palm Springs PM is a great size backpack not too big or too small can holds full size wallet and a small umbrella etc and a great raining day bag too and doesn't age badly.

P.S. if purly looking at price wise, Neverfull is the best bag. I love this bag but so many people having it doesn't make it special anymore.
