Palladium Guilloche hardware - SO only?

I am going to H tomorrow to spec my new evening bag. I am torn between a Constance 23 or 25 Kelly. Either way they will be black and have palladium hardware. Ideally a smooth leather (swift) with guilloche hardware. Here's the question - is this type of hardware SO only. My store didn't know much about it so I guess that is because there isn't a lot of demand for it or because it is SO.

Can anyone enlighten me?

I have that exact bag, a black box 25cm Kelly with palladium guilloche hardware. When I bought it it was not a special order, but it was at the time when H was making quite a few bags with Guilloche hardware, which I suspect they no longer do as part of normal production, so probably special order only unfortunately.

I cannot say enough in favor of this bag as a nice going out bag, I would get it over a Constance 23cm in a heartbeat. I love it.

Thank you - my mind is made up.

I need cheering up. Between posts my puppy has just chewed the corner off my vintage Hermes crocodile clutch. I am devastated. I know there is no selling on this forum but does anyone want to buy a 6 month Hungarian Vizsla? (Not serious - I learnt a long time ago not to love things that don't love back but it was gorgeous and it had just arrived in the post today).

Oh, I hadn't seen one before and it is everything I had hoped and more.

Stunning.

I think I may have a long wait for this but it will be worth it.

Clutch going to H tomorrow. I am hoping that they can remodel it so fingers crossed.

I tried to SO a bag with guilloche, but it was unavailable..
My SA said it's not offered.
So sad...

Hopefully one will come along soon!

I think you're right. I requested and the manager contacted Paris to see if it's available and no approval so it doesn't look good. But you never know with H, they say no to some customers and yes to others...
