Painted Saffiano leather

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anybody here knows if MK saffiano leather can be painted on? I bought a new SELMA that I was thinking of painting

That's a good question. I've never thought about it. I know LV has some bags that are customized or monogrammed but I don't know if it's dyed or painted. I would be interested in hearing others opinions about this myself.

I would imagine that with paint, it would wear off with use over time.

How funny.... Only last night randomly on IG a pic came up of a Chanel/LV authenticator and she painted her used and abused chanel wallet with hot pink leather pink and it looked amazing. That was caviar leather though I think, I also wouldn't know how saffiano would hold up? Can you buy a cheap charm in the sales to try it on first? I didn't even know such paint existed until last night [emoji1]

Great idea on trying it out on a small piece of saffiano! I think I will do that. I really love the Selma but want to personalize it.

Painting on a purse is pretty durable as long as the leather is prepared, painted on with professional leather paint and then sealed.
