Hi,
Today I received my Triomphe WOC which I ordered directly in the Celine website. I have watched a few unboxing/reviews beforehand and thought my WOC would arrive in a comparable condition.

So I was pretty surprised (not in a good way) when I opened the package and found a bag without any stickers, padding etc. just inside the dustbag.

The chain was just tucked in the bag, it had no padding, no wrap or plastic. Also the Triomphe hardware was without any protection sticker.

Is this normal? Did anybody experience the same?

I am pretty disappointed.

I ordered a bag from a Celine store and had the item shipped to me. I was also disappointed with the packaging, or lack there of. The bag was just in the Celine box; no ribbon, protective packaging / stickers. what was most upsetting is I had asked for the holiday packaging (i purchased the order during the holidays) and the sales associate obviously disregarded my request. I love Celine but they definitely need to step up their game when it comes to packaging.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Oh yes, I had also ticked the box for the gift packaging but it arrived just in the plain box without the ribbon or anything else.

I have phoned my local boutique and they said, I probably received a display bag from a boutique somewhere in Europe. Even if the website says „in stock“ this could mean it is not in stock at the warehouse but somewhere in store so they send it from there.

Meanwhile I have returned the bag and the SA will inform me once they have received a brand new WOC and put one aside for me.

I agree, Celine should improve the online shopping process.

I have yet to order a bag to be shipped to me, but both times I’ve bought Celine bags in store, there was no box. They just put the bags into dust bags and then into paper shopping bags. Is that normal for Celine stores everywhere, or is it just in my city? Every time I watch unboxing videos on TikTok, the bags come out of a box.

You can just ask for a box.

Sometimes I am asked, sometimes I have asked for one. But I tend to refuse it now because I already have so many I do not know where to store them anymore.

I have to ask every time at my boutique and they provide a box. Otherwise - just a big white Celine shopping bag.
