I'm not ashamed to admit that when I first heard of & saw pics of these bags, I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. They seemed so plain & simple & boring. Why were these bags so hot & why couldn't stores keep them on the shelves? Then I started seeing some of the pretty colors that were coming out. They were starting to get my attention & I became a little more curious about them. When I read about the "yummy" leather & how the bag aged & wore, I began to take notice. Two of the things that really attract me to a bag are the leather & gorgeous colors. If it's a practical style that's easy to wear & carry, it makes it even more appealing. I was now hooked, yet, I still hadn't seen one in person. About a month or so ago, I finally had the chance to check these bags out. As soon as I picked it up, I knew that it was true love!
So now I was on a mission - I started to save up for one. I knew I wanted the Medium. It was the color that drove me crazy! I couldn't decide what color to get, going back & forth from Midnight (Blue) to Smoke (Taupe/Grey) to Raspberry to Military. I finally narrowed it down to either Raspberry or Military & when the day came when I could finally buy the bag I found, what I thought was Military (that's what the SA told me)
Well, it arrived today & it's not Military, it's actually Khaki (there was some confusion among PS1 fanatics whether or not it was actually Moss, a color which has had some issues - PS confirmed that it's an entirely different color w/o any major issues, so I was able to put my mind at ease!) I actually really like the color & the more I look at & "play" with it, I think it's going to be a great color choice (and who knows -- maybe when PS finally gets the Military in stock, I'll swap it out for a new one!!). The leather is just heavenly, so buttery soft with a "vintage" look & feel to it. And the shape & size & design are perfect for my everyday needs.
So here is my newest addition (and probably my last for this year!), the MEDIUM PS1 in KHAKI!! (I'll post some guts & modeling pics tomorrow!)
