I think it ended the only way it REALLY could. I wanted the happy ending, truly..but this show isn't about that. I also enjoyed the 30 min "Farewell to Ozark"

I don't know if the writers all knew how hard everyone would be rooting for Ruth..or if Julia playing her to perfection is what did it for us.
