I would love to hear what you all feel has "had it's moment" , run it's course, become ridiculous, lost it's appeal, whatever. I know we would not all agree. With me I don't even think about it but it just happens, I see a M Kors bag and realize I haven't used any of mine in years and for what ever reason I have no interest. Or the tiny trend has gotten crazy, smaller than 8 inches wide is nuts, my keys hardly fit. And how could I ever use any thing but a crossbody after having free hands! Yippee! Share thoughts?

Being an older woman of 59, small handbags do not work for me. I have to carry medicine, two pairs of glasses and other essentials that are a must for me. However, I can understand the appeal of them for people that do not have to carry a lot of essentials. So mini handbags have lost their appeal for me. Logo bags have lost their appeal to me because I do not feel the look compliments me anymore at my current age. I sold all of my monogram LV bags that I once adored for that reason and switched to a very understated Hermes Garden Party 30 and 36 bag due to simplicity and timelessness. Trendy bags have lost their appeal for the same reason that I stated above. Sometimes as you get older, you have to change your style to be more age-appropriate. I want to stress there is nothing wrong with any of the bag styles I mentioned above, and I would never judge anyone's choice of a handbag, but my style had to change due to getting older, and that is just life.

I can't say I really don't like it and want it to go away, but the current trend that is absolutely alien to me is micro bags.

They may be cute, but to me, if I can't carry my stuff in it, it's not a bag, just an accessory. I'm not even talking about going to work stuff. Just the essentials. If they don't fit, what's the point?

Same here, I get it as an embellishment of a larger bag, but as a “charm” on a normal bag it can’t cost $1000+. Fendi at some point had two baguettes, a normal and a micro on it and I saw that as fun - having essentials in the micro....but NANO ????

Here is my story with double bag inspired by Fendi. I saw a cute photo similar to this #1 but I can’t find the one I really liked. I liked the idea but I needed a bigger small one and a bigger big one too, so I tried to combine the ones I have at home and found Ralph Lauren tote in the style of a vintage baguette with whip-stitch. I carry them like this, photo #2. Now I just saw spring 2020 and guess what, the big one became a tote and the small became a regular baguette, haha, they must have seen me or came to their senses about the size a woman can really use

I'm 100% sure it won't go away, but I wish all monogram prints would go away. I personally just strongly dislike them. I dislike LV monogram print the most.
LOL I am not the only one !!! These Fendi’s I posted are not the ones I would ever buy because of monogram fabric and print on the leather...just size I like

I agree with all of the above. Minis, logos, and excessive hardware are deal-breakers for me, as are animal prints and pastels.

My dislike for such things doesn't, however, extend to how I see them on other people. My sister, for example, looks lovely in pastels.

Agreed, pastels are peaking and logos are lagging
