Outfit Helpp!!

Hi guys!

I need your help please. I recently purchased this dress

and i want this to appear casual. In other words, i want to dress it down. Fabric is cotton, incase you were wondering. So, instead of wearing heels, can i wear wedged flip flops or flat shoe? Please suggest any ideas you have. Thanks

Do you have photos of the shoes? Flats or wedged flip flops would be fine. You could wear a really cute flat sandal (silver) would be cute.

I would do sandals like Pinkdot posted and include a white fitted denim jacket over the top.

to make it more casual, i think i would alter the length and make it a little shorter. i don't think a dress at that length and flats would look right.

I think flats always look pretty with a full skirt. I agree that espadrilles would be cute too.

I also like these . I got a pair last summer in white to go with summer dresses. I think the earthy brown would be cute with a pink dress.

Of course, there's a bunch of floral flats & weges this season - 1 of those would be really cute & flirty too.

I think a natural canvas or raffia flat would be nice. Adds to the Latin feel.

I don't like flats with a skirt or dress that hits below the knee. It looks dowdy. But a nice espadrille wedge would look fantastic!

With 3/4 length dress, I wouldn't wear flats - unless you're 5'10, you'll look shorter and your legs will look heavier. But like KellBell said, espadrilles would work and they'd still be pretty casual.

The length is really tricky. It depends on where it falls on you as to whether you should wear flats or not. And I agree with the others - espadrilles are a good choice.
