Ostrich color, please ID..

Havane ostrich has a bit more cordovan undertones, doesn't it? It's hard to tell with the sun and the shadow. And yes, the ostrich skin looks off.

looks like acne to me, but the picture could be distorted.

I have a gold/cognac ostrich and it is def not the same color as the bag in the pic. The bag in the pic is way darker than mine

strange that you would say this, ardneish. After all that you rained on the poor 19 year old? That video showed more things authentic of a birkin than this one single picture does and in the sun too.

Its not mine, so no one is raining on my parade,I wasn't sure what was going on with the bag, the color seemed off, but its not the greatest picture, so I was just wondering. No need to get confrontational with one another.

IT IS TRUE THAT MOST OF THE NEW HERMES OSTRICH BAGS HAVE "FLAT" QUILLS, AS THEY ACTUALLY HAMMER THEM FLAT. HOWEVER, THE VINTAGE BAGS DO HAVE THE RAISED QUILLS. I HAPPEN TO OWN A 35CM BOLIDE IN GOLD OSTRICH, AND IT DEFINITELY HAS RAISED, NATURAL LOOKING QUILLS. I ACTUALLY PREFER IT OVER THE FLAT VERSION, AS TO ME, THE FLAT QUILLS LOOK LIKE THEY'VE BEEN PAINTED ON. (IF YOU SPECIAL ORDER AN OSTRICH BAG, YOU CAN SPECIFY FLAT OR AU NATUREL!)
