how rare is it to come by? i'm deeply in love with the lavender colour 30cm ostrich birkin...is it more rare than a croc birkin? and about how much is it gonna be in USD? TIA!

lavender? do you mean violine? or?

it can be found at resellers with premiums of course. whether you can get it from a Hermes store, i believe it depends on your relationship with Hermes ...

im not exactly sure but violine is probably the "proper" name for that colour.. thanks for correcting me!.... where can i find resellers?

actually.. i just searched violine.. and it doesn't seem like its that tone of purple.. is there an even lighter purple that they offer?

Ostrich bags are fairly difficult to come by and current US pricing is in the low $20k's.

The next time you visit an Hermes store, ask to see their books of current leather/skin offerings. I don't believe that they are currently offering ostrich in any light purple shades.

It is always possible to request a special order, depending upon your relationship with that particular store.

Would they not allow me to see the books of current skin offerings if I am not yet a regular? I have yet to develop a strong relationship with the SA that has helped me last time.... And I have yet to get my first birkin,, so will they treat me differently?

must be in waiting list or good appreciate to have one and the new hermes policy is one bag per year. (but you can take one at your name, one with your husband or a friend :p)
