This is one of my favorites days of the year (i sound like a geek lol)..I love the red carpet arrivals and seeing what they are wearing. I do miss Joan and Melissa Rivers though.

This is the first year in a long time I am not doing a big girls party....I wasn't sure if there was even going to be an Oscars this year, so I didn't start planning in time.
It was hard for me to 'get in the mood'...without the Golden Globes (which I actually like better than the oscars)...kinda like watching the Superbowl with no playoffs.
I will Tivo everything, so I can watch it sans commercials

The Oscars (much like the Emmys, the Grammys, etc.) aren't a big deal with me. I just don't care much about awards shows. The BF will probably watch, though. If I'm in the room I'll notice bits and pieces, sure, but I won't be paying much attention. LOL.
