Has anyone had or known any experience with Oscar clinic? Please share! I am looking to do eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty (bulbous nose). Thank you in advance!

Hi tianng162,
I went there to consult for revision rhinoplasty. I found them on Babitalk and decided to message them using my limited Korean. The consultant was really friendly and made such an effort to speak in English when I met her in person. She was so cute haha. To my surprise, the surgeon spoke perfect English and it turned out that he did his training in the States. The doctor spent a good 15 minutes with me discussing options and was really listening to my concerns.
I believe Oscar is more famous for eyes because I saw a few locals in the waiting area with their eyes done. I didn't end up doing any surgeries but I quite liked the overall vibe of Oscar. The doctor speaking perfect English was such a pleasant surprise too!

Thank you so much for sharing Teeteetee! I'm also very interested in Oscar Clinic for eyelid surgery but it's so hard to find reviews

Hi Teeteehee, thank you for sharing! It is reassuring to know that the doctor speaks english and did his trainning in the States. If you were to have eyes done would you choose Oscar?

I think if I were to have my eyes done, I'd put Oscar as one of my top 2 choices. It was really easy to communicate with the doctor and he was quite honest about what he could do and what would look the best for my face. Also, there were only locals in the waiting room when I went in for my consult and most had either eyes or eyes and nose done. That was really reassuring that the clinic was popular among locals and their quoted price was really reasonable as well!

@Teeteetee , how would you say about Oscar's result? Is it leaning dramatic/natural? ( both eyes and nose ) may i know what is your other option in your top two list?

I consulted with Oscar among other clinics and had a pleasant experience with them. There were no English consultants but the lovely person in charge of their Kakao account put me in touch with the director, who spoke English and who also took the time out to meet with me prior to the appointment so I wasn't left alone. They found me a Mandarin translator for the consultation but it turned out to be unnecessary as the surgeon I consulted with (Dr. Baik) spoke perfect English, which was seriously awesome given that I hadn't spoken Mandarin in more than a decade (and even back that I'd have no idea what columnella/implant etc are in Mandarin...). There're two surgeons in the clinic and I think teeteetee may have consulted with Dr Kim, who specialises in more complicated cases of rhinoplasty and who was brought in because the clinic has become quite busy.

As for the consultation, I liked that Dr. Baik only recommended what he thought was necessary, and I felt that although he could give very dramatic results he preferred the natural look, and the before/after photo albums in the clinic showed this natural look.
