Wow! You take photos of the layout? Can I get you to come over to my house and help me get organized? I bet you can find anything, anywhere! That's awesome!

Yeah...I have issues LOL! I think I did it once, used it as a reference, and found it beneficial, so I started doing it with the bags that I use for kid things...

I try to make sure everything is either stuffed in my wallet or stuffed in the purse organizer thing, not in pockets that are part of the bag. But when I do it I dump the whole bag on my bed.

Lol! That is exactly what I do. Although, I am definitely going to look into the Chameleon that seems to come so highly recommended. Thanks!

I keep typically 3 things in my bag: my makeup bag with my makeup and misc things (little thing of lotion, visine allergy, hair tie, etc), my wallet, and my keys with LV cles attached (holds also misc. things - such as a small pack of mints and my USB drive). When I come home I place those 3 things on my counter and put my bag back in it's place on my bag shelf. Now, the next day when choosing a bag to go with my outfit, I simply place those 3 things back in the bag of my choice. No confusion or complications. No hassle at all

Very good pointer.

i use a purse organizer that i made for myself a long time ago ... it works very similarly to the purseket.
(now why didn't i ever think of marketing it? :P)
i go through phases where i switch purses everyday, but now i'm stuck in a "using just one bag for daytime" and a few different ones if i'm going out in the evening.
(tPF is revealing that i have some bag issues that need to be resolved)

Thanks to those of you who said that you use and are happy with the Chameleon. I'd been thinking about ordering one and this pushed met to actually do it. I can't wait for it to arrive.

I use smaller bags inside my bag so it's very easy to switch.

I use a purse organizer called purse to go, it's similar to the chameleon. It makes switching bags a breeze. I love it. I have it in all 3 sizes so it's perfect for all of my bags. Love it!

I use the same style of bag (Coach Ali) in different colors, essentially there is the body of the bag, and 2 pockets. I always carry the same things inside, wallet, planner, glasses, (winter gloves), and sometimes a wristlet. I don't have a lot of "little" loose items. I take everything out of the bag . . . restuff/put it in dust bag, pull the "chosen" bag out, and re-load! If I've gathered receipts or 'little' things throughout they day, they are discarded or filed when I empty the bag.

when I was younger and carried a smaller purse the woman director I worked with asked "how do you get away with carrying such a small purse" and I replied, "I don't put my house in it!".....

I was using the Chameleon, but I am finicky and like to change things up so I'm not using it at the moment (though I'm sure I will again soon). Right now I'm just using pouches, which is working for me. I have a big one for things like lotion, cough drops, and all my random stuff, and another one for cosmetics. I have a coinpurse for my lip balm. Then I just throw in my other stuff (wallet, ipod, phone, keys, etc) and I'm good to go.

I don't carry alot (wallet, cell phone, keys, accessories pouch for odds and ends, ipod), but since most of the bags I have don't have alot of pockets inside (and I totally agree with another poster who mentioned you can lose things that way by forgetting what's in there!), I have taken to using a Purseket in most of my bags. And I just ordered two Chameleon's too! I can't wait to try the Chameleon's out, because I think in certain bags they will work better than the Purseket (and vice versa).

My method is to carry smaller bags inside my (very large) bag.
Really, I have looked at Chameleons and Pursekets and I find them unattractive and not versatile.
With my method, I get to buy more bags! I can indulge my purse addiction many more times over by filling my handbag with smaller clutches, wallets, coinpurses, pochettes, card cases and agandas. I can carry 6 different designers in one hand. Heavenly!

I put all my stuff into small pouches that can easily be switched into another bag. I have a big pouch for makeup, tissues, extra lipstick, and lotion. I also have a small pouch for loose stuff like my keys and a mirror. Then there's my wallet. I'm very organized so I don't leave giftcards and stuff like that lying around in my wallet.

I used to have a purseket but I found that it didn't fit all my bags and sometimes it made my bags look too stiff.
