Hi everyone I am curious if any of you order directly from an SA?
Like she places the order through her store and sends you a pay link and you get an email receipt.
How has it gone for you in your experience? I placed 2 preorders with an SA who is not in my state and messaged her a few hours ago to see if I will get shipping info and no response. She did read the message and one of the items I purchased launched today. I definitely want the one that launched today and can place in cart in lv.com. Should I wait and possibly miss the item I want or buy it and return one if it shows up later?
Any experience to ease my mind?
It’s my first time ordering this way 😳

I have several SA in different locations who I can contact if I see the item i want is in their store. This is usually how I'm able to acquire the pieces I really want. Althought most of times I have ordered items directly off the website, sometimes it can take weeks to get...or not at all despite paying up front for it. For example, the Sunrise aquarelle key pouch I ordered weeks ago never shipped on time, and i got tired of waiting for it, so i cancelled it. I could have gotten it faster in the store in my city. If you have an established relationship with your SA, it's probably the best way to go. One of mine is in a large city and gets the best items which he always overnights to me. If you really feel unsure about whether your SA can come thru for your coveted item, If it was me, I would order it online as well....that way its pretty much sure you will get it, and if you do end up with double, return is free !

Thank you so much for explaining!! You definitely set my mind at ease. I desperately want the item I ordered and am worried it will not show up or cancel. I’ve heard that can happen. It’s my first time using this SA and she has been really responsive but today she isn’t responding. I thought maybe she wasn’t working but she did read my message 6 hours ago. I may go ahead and order it tonight if she doesn’t respond by then. I’m assuming they can’t cancel an order?
And I know this may sound silly but can I return the order from her online or will it need to go to a local store?

As for the return ... it depends. If your item was sent from an LV located inside a dept store (Saks, NM, Macys,Bloomingdales), you need to return directly to that store location to get your credit card refund, otherwise you will only get "LV store credit" if you return it to a free-standing LV store. They should always include a return label as a courtesy, no matter how the item is ordered. I think you can only return items online if it was originally an online purchase (that is, u can see the order on your profile).

Thank you for clarifying!! I really appreciate your help and knowledge with this. Since she works lv directly I should be able to return online which is easier for me. I’m unfortunately not seeing the order in my account as I think she crossed an email and sent it to me but a different email account. So she made a new account with existing history?!? It’s weird but all my prior purchases are missing from my account. I’ll need to call lv to straighten it out I’m guessing.
Thank you again @travelbliss 🥰🥰🥰

I have ordered from SA with payment link but it was my local SA from boutique where I live. Had no problems, he called me when order arrived as I chose to pickup in boutique bc was shoes and needed to try on anyway.

I have also ordered from LV online and was able to return at local store for full refund on credit card. Not sure if that's helpful at all lol

I have had great experiences in the past ordering hard-to-find items with the LV Digitial Concierge available through the website. They provided quick responses to any questions/requests, although I don’t recall being able to access tracking until the shipment was in my UPS account. But when an item didn’t work out I was able to either send back with UPS or return in store. Hope this helps!

Thank you for sharing your experience!! It’s a new one for me as I normally would buy in store or most times online directly. But I have some pieces I’m hoping to secure in the F/W men’s 24 line that will be difficult without a good S.A. relationship 😉
I have heard that sometimes orders will cancel after long periods of time when done this way. TravelBliss said she had that one issue with the key pouch and ended up canceling through the S.A. order and buying it at the store. I couldn’t find a good thread explaining anything involved with long distance S.A. purchases so I figured I would ask.
I love working with the S.A. I found and I’m sure she is just busy or not at work. Hopefully one will make it to me. I went ahead and ordered from the website just in case, so two may show up 😂😂

Thank you!! I wasn’t sure how this would all go. I’ll definitely keep the digital concierge in mind for items that are difficult to find. I’ve actually never used it. I’m glad to hear that you couldn’t see it in your account history either. I have now purchased two of the speedy 40 so one will definitely have to be returned. I’m sure it will work out in the end 😊

2 is better than none

Even my regular SA doesn't usually reply when it's their day off. Don't stress!

I received an item shipped directly from an SA in a store in another state, but it comes packaged with the same documents including the return label if you do not want to keep it.. you do not have to return it to a store.
