I did a search on this and only found one thread with one response. :shrugs:

There are no LV stores in Utah, but there are five in the city where I am from (Vegas). My hometown is seriously down on its luck due to the economy and I'd like to order from a boutique in my hometown over the phone. Do they let people do phone orders, and secondly, how do the taxes work on a phone order if LV allows them?

I have saved and saved and finally I am at a point where I can place an order from LV again :yahoo: so that is why I am asking. Thanks in advance! :D

i live in the seattle area, and i recently did a phone order with a boutique in the LA area. i was basically told that if you are in their computer system and have at least a semi-recent purchase, they will usually do a phone order. i believe that i was charged the same rate of tax that i pay locally. hope that helps. :)

I asked a SA when I visited a store in Portland (where there's no tax). They said I can do a phone order for me, but I'll have to pay the same tax where I live, plus shipping (I learned later is $15 flat fee). If you don't have a LV store where you live, I'd buy from oline to save on sales tax. But I've never bought any bag online so not sure how it works. Good luck.

If they have the bag, they can definitely mail it to you, you will pay the tax where ever it is you are shipping, so in this case, UTAH. THen add 15 for the shipping no matter where you ship it from or to. As many of said you need to have made a recent purchase and YOU CAN ONLY SHIP TO THE ADDRESS you have on file, so if you gave them your vegas address before, thats the only place you can ship it. Hope this helps! What do you want?

Even if you buy on-line, where ever its shipped, you will have to pay that tax...
