Hi! I absolutely love the Orans and bought a white pair recently for my holiday but can’t work out if they are right for my feet. I have very narrow feet but the Orans seemed not too bad in terms of width when I tried them around the house. However, I then read some comments where people said they can’t wear them because they have narrow feet and their foot comes out of them. I was too scared to wear them in case this turned out to be the case and a very expensive mistake, so I reluctantly returned them. When I returned them, I told the SA my issue with them and she said her mum has really small, narrow feet and she felt like she was slipping out of them at first, but then she got used to walking in them. I couldn’t stop thinking about them after this and regretting the return, so a few weeks later I returned to the boutique and tried them again. This time I really did feel like my foot was starting to slide out of them, so perhaps they had been tried on before and stretched. The previous pair had been a completely brand new pair which was probably why they felt better.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I know everyone’s feet are different but does anyone with narrow feet find these sandals work for them or are they a complete no no? I love them but don’t want to buy them again and wear them outside just to find they are difficult to walk in. It’s too hard to tell just by walking around the house as you walk differently than if you are walking outside. TIA.

I have narrow feet and I can't wear these shoes. My feet slide forward because the H part is much too wide for me. Love them, but just can't wear them. I will admire from afar instead. :)

That’s a shame! I didn’t feel my feet were slipping forward. I felt more like they were slipping back out of the sandals slightly. Did you find this too?

I have small feet and the Orans are fine - I own several pairs. I usually go for half a size smaller. The length is still fine but the shoe will fit better and I don’t slip around. You might add a sticky transparent cushion (the ones to prevent blisters) to the upper part of the shoe to bring your foot up a little if you are set on the Oran. Did so in the past with other models and it worked out fine for me.

My true size was perfect in length, perhaps a little on the short side so I’m not sure a half size smaller would work. I can certainly try it. So, do you not feel like your foot is sliding back at all?

I have narrow feet and the Orans don't work for me. I'm usually a 38 and tried to size down to a 37, at which point they were still too wide, but also too short. For me, my fleet slide forward when I walk.

No sliding back at all for me. Stick with your regular size if it was already on the short size, you will certainly see a difference in between half sizes.

I also have very narrow feet. I tried the Oran’s in my size and they did not work for me either. My feet slide forward. I was determined to find a sandal to match my gold bags. I purchased the Kola sandals four years ago because they had a strap that went around the ankle. They are a little wide but because of the toe straps, my feet can not slide forward. I still wish for the Oran. I wish they would make them in a narrow width.

I have narrow feet and I find the Oran’s very comfortable, which is absolutely not the case with most slippers and open sandals. The thing is to get the size right. I think many people expect sliders to leave some sole behind the heel, whereas with the Orans the sole should stop at your heel (hence many people in these forums asking whether they look too small). So maybe try half a size down?
It my depend on your size too. I feel they go wider as the numbers go up, in proportion to length. I am perhaps lucky to have small feet (a 36)?
In any event narrow feet are a problem with mules and open back sandals. But for me the Orans work better than most.

I'm right there with all of you. I have narrow feet also and have difficulty finding shoes in general. Would love to get the Orans, but I too feel like my foot slips too far out the front when I try them. If only they made a narrow! On the other side, I have found that the Paris loafer fits well since that tends to run a bit narrow. Has anyone found other Hermes shoes that fit narrow feet? I also just bought the Advantage sneaker but haven't worn them yet.

I have narrow feet & I tend to favor Hermes shoes overall. Besides the Oran, the Holly works well for me
& a couple of other styles
This past fall I did not find much that I liked so I was happy that I bought multiples(different fabrications)
in the styles that work for me
I try all the shoes that are available in my size as they are all handmade they tend at times to fit differently
& I also will buy shoes from Hermes.com as well

I have narrow feet and have a few pairs of Orans. I always try on several pairs until I find the most snug. Every pair seems to be slightly different. I buy my true size (7.5/8 and I get a 38) which is just barely long enough and then they stretch slightly after several wears. You can also stick a pad under the H area to make it tighter on your foot. If you love them you can probably make it work. :)
