i absolutely love this color. so much so that i bought it in the matte, though unfortunately i've only used that a couple times because it chips easily and well the matte trend didn't last for too long.

for those that find ydkj to be too dark, maybe try over the taupe? it also achieves taupey goodness but is definitely a lot lighter than jacques.

I am wearing Over the Taupe this week. I love it! I don't consider it lighter or darker than YDKJ -- I think it's got a slightly pinkish/purple cast to it while YDKJ is much more brown.

I adore You Don't Know Jacques! Definitely one of my favorite OPI colors, as in "top 5." I think this is one of those colors that truly anybody can wear.

I just brought this, and im not sure how i feel about it yet. I think it looks a little sludgy.

I think this is a great color, but it does not look good on everyone, IMO.
