Opinions...which Tiffany necklace for my Bday?

My birthday is coming up and I'm trying to decide which necklace to ask dh to buy. I love both of these necklaces and can't decide. Opinions???

First is the Elsa Peretti initial necklace

Or the Tiffany graduated beads necklace (I already have the bracelet).

If it were me, I'd go for the initial necklace. It's a great everyday piece. And, it would be sweet layered w/other necklace (but also beautiful on it's own).

I own both: I tend to wear the beads more than the initial. I like the beads because, they can be dressed up or down.

I think it depends on your age / style. I'm in my mid twenties and I have the bead necklace (and bracelet, like you) and I NEVER wear it. Literally I have worn it a handful of times and I've had it for 5 years. It is just too much and to me it looks a little matronly, so the only time I wear it is when I have on business attire and want to look professional because it looks good under a dress shirt (because it's mostly covered up, lol).

I have wanted the initial necklace since I was 16!!! No one ever gets it for me but I think it's beautiful and a lot more young and fun than the beads.

I would go beads, but then I love strands of pearls and similar bead necklaces.
