I need help choosing. I limit myself to one big bag purchase a year so I have to think long and hard.


3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli; medium size; Cobalt color


LV Speedy 35 Damier Azur


LV Speedy 35 Monogram


LV Alma BB Epi in Black


Or if I wait until closer to the end of the year, I can save up enough to buy a Gucci Bamboo Shopper Leather in the large size, in red.

I vote for the Phillip Lim or the LV Alma. If already have a black bag get the cobalt. It is such a vibrant color and so now. Then the Gucci the other two LV are just to common and the market is flooded with fakes. ;)

Thank you for the input =) Do you know anything about the quality of Phillip Lim bags? I've never owned one. I have a few LVs and 1 Gucci in leather and all of them have proven their quality.

I choose the LV Damier Azur. That is such a gorgeous timeless bag.

I have read on this board that quality of Phillip Lim leaves something to be desired, so based on those opinions, I wouldn't go there...

I ended up with the Gucci bamboo shopper tote in a large burgundy. I could not resist the opportunity during the Gucci private sale online. This bag was 50% off the full price of $2550. I originally wanted it in red but I was told it is a color that will more likely never be marked down. I've seen the red in person & I actually prefer this burgundy next to the bamboo. It is much more beautiful in person (camera phone shot does not do it justice).

Great choice! I wasn't able to take advantage of the private sale being that the only thing I wanted was no longer available. Gucci is always an exceptional choice

So true! My first leather Gucci purse I bought 2 years ago still looks & smells like the first time I bought it. I just wish I had more purse $$$ to buy more :)
