I've been wanting a tea rose dinky, I was originally looking for a black or Chalk tea rose Dinky, but I couldn't pull my trigger because the price and it's never on sale.

Last night I saw this bag was on sale on coach website, original price $650 and 50% off . this seems to be from several seasons before, for some reason it's left in the whale-house. I was surprised by the details of the tea roses, I can tell it must cost so much more craftsmanship to than the normal tea rose. tearose.JPG
I ordered it because I know it will be gone shortly (it's actually gone now), but now I am kind of hesitate again. I've never seen this in person, I am kind of worried about the color and the embellishment might be too much? for such a small bag will it be too busy with all these on?
I start thinking am I buying it just because it's more rare to get or it's on sale? Actually my SA offered me 40% off on the back or chalk tea rose, so the price doesn't matter much too much.

Beauties, which one do you think it's more practical and more beautiful? Advice please!

Personally I like the one you chose! I don't think the color will be too much since it's only on a small portion of the bag. You should still be able to wear it as a mostly neutral bag. However, if you don't end up liking it in person, the black and chalk versions are beautiful too. It just comes down to which one excites you more.

Practicality, I would think they are all the same. They are all the same size, hold same amount of stuff, function the same. It just comes down to what style you like, or what fits in with your style. Beauty also depends on you as the wearer! I am partial to the chalk tea rose dinky, but that is because it would fit in with my wardrobe and personal style more (though I would also always be worrying about colour transfer!). The one you ordered to me is more edgy (and I agree the detailed embellishments definitely show outstanding craftsmanship), but just as gorgeous as the other two! I think the colours in it are very wearable.

Thank you for the advice! I was obsessed by the black tea rose originally, I bought the tea rose rogue with snake skin , I lost the chance to buy the first generation made with python skin, which looks more elegant to me but all sold out shortly.

maybe I should try another color. by this means, giving this colorful tea rose a try sounds good :)

Yes, I feel the exactly same way. either the black and the chalk tea rose dinky will fit my wardrobe a lot easier. I love the chalk color but worried about color transfer since I wear jeans a lot. The one I ordered indeed more picky for the clothes, I will see when it arrives how it can fit my wardrobe.

I like the black one. To me, that is an absolutely beautiful color combination and the brass hardware is my favorite. It looks elegant and is not subject to the finish coming off as is the black copper and gunmetal hardware.

Which Tea Rose Rogue with python are you referring to? The regular sized on, in Chalk?

The python tea rose rogue only come with regular size. I was obsessed with that bag when I saw the picture it's already sold out. When the 2nd generation is launched it changed to snake skin, I was kind of disappointed because python version is much more beautiful to me, but I bought one anyway. That's how I notice whenever coach release any new model, the 1st generation is always the best quality and detailed.

Thank you all for your advises. I've made up my mind. I will keep the colorful tea rose dinky, I received it and it has amazing detail. It seems to be the 1st generation of tea rose dinky, it says made in China. The 1941 collection tend to be always the most wellmade when the 1st generation is released, and the reduce some details at the 2nd generation.
About my concern of the too colorful issue, since the red flowers as not as shocking red as it's shown in the picture, so all colors are not clashing at all. I tried on the white and black tea rose at the store, they are absolutely gorgeous as well, but seems a little boring. Besides I can always purchase them later. I know if I returned this one, I will never be able to by it again.
Here's some pictures, I am so excited!
