Opinions please on Chanel Camel Flap

Hi all!!

So I’m contemplating purchasing this flap and need some opinions. I believe it is Calfskin and not sure how that will wear over time? And is anyone familiar with this flap? Can’t find anything online. Believe it is from 13p (17 series).

I currently own a taupe/camel colored YSL college bag and and gold Hermes kelly. Is that too repetitive? Could also just really use some opinions on the bag in general. So undecided on the purchase.

I'm not a fan of the stitching on the bag as it makes it look very casual.....It appears that the color is in the same color family as your other bags...Have you seen the new navy? It would go well with the camel/gold family...

Color wise it might be too similar to your other bags but I really like the look of this one.

Similar to your other bag color. I also don't like this stitching, but more the top part of the leather that will rest on your shoulder just looks really narrow and thin. If you love it though, that's all that matters.

I love the shape, color and stitching (all makes it more casual look) I think it’s lovely! The stitching reminds me of the H Gold Évelyne contrast that I love so much. I also think this color has nothing to do or even close to H Gold color. As per YSL taupe/camel if it’s the one I think, that it’s a richer tan more of a deeper caramel hue?. I think the bag it’s casual and beautiful colored.

I wouldn’t call this bag an investment piece but more of impulse. If you like it and you will use it everyday for a while you should go for it. But if it’s your first Chanel, I would opt for a more classic piece. Specifically about this bag I don’t find the chain substantial enough for the size of the bag, if it makes any sense. It appears the chain is on the thinner side, more like a woc than a flap. That’s the only thing I don’t like about this bag. The color is also casual, imo.

Thank you all for opinions! I went ahead and ordered it as I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Thankfully I can return if I don’t love it. Will post pics when it arrives!
